Maria João Oliveira is an assistant researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto (IS-UP). Among other issues, her career path has been characterised by scientific work in the areas of Migrations and Religions, having been part of the Groupe Européen de Recherche Interdisciplinar sur le hangement Religieux (GERICR) between 2009 and 2013.
